1. This poem – it’s deceiving. It’s so short, and so simply written. Yet. There’s so much voice to this, Tim. The “stand-in-the-shadows / way of getting things done” and the “except…when it doesn’t.” You’ve captured both steadfastness and fickleness (is that a word) all in one go. Well done!
