I love this for its own sake, but also for a wonderful creative and artistic idea for my classroom. “this gives life to thee” I hope my summer sustains me through this unprecedented school year.

Thanks, Margaret. Summer, for all intents and purposes, is almost over (we teachers go back next week) and I too hope to be sustained through it. Unprecedented, indeed!

“summer shall not fade” – Noooo. I can’t wait for summer to fade! But this is lovely, and so visually pretty, too!

All of the above comments resonate with me about your poem, Tim. While summer is taking on a whole new image this year, it is still the time of joy in Long Island. Nature is a comforter.

Nature is, indeed, a comforter! I hope your summer—strange as it is—continues to be a time of joy!
