Sonnet XVIII “Sun Out” Poem

From Shakespeare’s Sonnet XVIII. It’s not exactly a black out poem…think summer!

  1. I love this for its own sake, but also for a wonderful creative and artistic idea for my classroom. “this gives life to thee” I hope my summer sustains me through this unprecedented school year.

    1. Thanks, Margaret. Summer, for all intents and purposes, is almost over (we teachers go back next week) and I too hope to be sustained through it. Unprecedented, indeed!

  2. All of the above comments resonate with me about your poem, Tim. While summer is taking on a whole new image this year, it is still the time of joy in Long Island. Nature is a comforter.
